Creating the 5G factory of the future at Ford

Ford Motor Company is collaborating with Vodafone and a consortium of six other partners to create the ‘Factory of the Future’ using 5G technology in the UK. At the heart of this 2-year government-funded project is a 5G Mobile Private Network (MPN) that delivers highly reliable, secure, high-speed mobile connectivity to the factory floor. In this presentation, Vodafone and Ford will outline the manufacturing use cases enabled by this new 5G technology, and the lessons learned so far from this collaboration. Vodafone will also show what are the next steps in the Netherlands regarding Mobile Private Networks.
